This Pokemon X and Y Video Has a Mysterious Scene at the End | A New Pokemon Game?

There is a promotional video for Pokemon X and Y that appeared on the Pokemon Game show. It's a trip down memory video, wherein Pikachu is seen traveling from one console to another. Watch the video below, here on our Pokemon blog:

Each of the console is related to Pokemon with regards to the fact that at least one Pokemon game has appeared there. I can say that the video is pretty cool, from the way Pikachu emerges from the Game Boy until the final swing, where it is seen looking at the opening menu of Pokemon X and Y on the Nintendo 3DS.

However, something peculiar happens in the final moments of the video. We are shown with an image of Blaziken and Lucario, who looks like they're battling on a non-3DS graphics. Is this a new game being teased? Wow, X and Y have not yet been released yet, yet here comes a tease for another game?

If my hunch is correct, it can be a new Pokemon game for the Wii U. Of course, it cannot be a PS3 game, since Pokemon will never come there. Or perhaps a long-term project involving a new system, or a new game on the 3DS with strikingly new graphics that X and Y.

With regards to that, it is safe to assume that scene is just a teaser of an upcoming Pokemon title, making the fans ready for new things yet to come in the Pokemon franchise. :)
