The Japanese Pokemon event, The Pokemon Game Show has revealed a lot of things. The Pokemon special anime, a demo form of Pokemon X and Y and a whole lot of other things. While I can definitely divide this post into a couple of mini posts, I figured we can just do it in just one go here on N-Handhelds, our Pokemon blog.

The Pokemon Anime

The special anime will feature Red, the protagonist of the original Pokemon games as he travels across the Kanto Region, defeating the gym leaders and Team Rocket. More on Pokemon: The Origin, here. The trailer is also on that link.

Fairy Type in Pokemon Trading Card Game

The trading card game regarding Pokemon is receiving a new update with the addition of the Fairy typing. Check out more of this at Pokemon Dungeon

Pokemon X and Y Demo

The Japanese are able to play a demo version of the game, according the Dungeon, mega evolutions can be done anytime during the battles. Additionally, Fennekin has very good basic attack moves, making it pretty useful, especially for basic pokemon game play.

We also do not need to press the B button to run, as running is the default movement mode.

A new Pokemon Wii U Game?

A mysterious image have appeared on the Internet, showing Lucario and Blaziken battling in seemingly non-3DS graphics. Is this a hint of a new Pokemon game for the Wii U? This is still a rumor but perhaps, it's wort mentioning it out.

So many good things have happened in the Pokemon Game Show! I wish I was there, Haha. Anyway, check out these guys from other websites who have been updating us with news from the event:

1. PokeJungle - has updated posts regarding the event. Yup, he's there!
2. SG Cafe - They have a feature about the Pokemon cosplayers in the event.
3. Pokemon Dungeon - Has a video of the Pokemon X and Demo.

As we wait for Pokemon X and Y, I am looking forward for a possible demo of the game to come on our North American 3DS systems. Will they do it? I hope so!

In the meantime, please help this site by buying Pokemon X and Y on Play-Asia! Thanks!
