Japan will be experiencing the Pokemon X and Y Experience in the coming days and months. From demos to soundtracks, it seems that Japan will be getting a lot of off-game promotions for this new Pokemon game. Our Pokemon blog has all the details:
1. Playable Pokemon X and Y demos will be playable in selected Aeon Malls in Japan on August 20, 21, 24, 25, 31, and September 1.
2.. Pokemon X and Y soundtrack can be bought by the fans on November 13. It will cost 2,625 Yen with 212 tracks in it.
3. Pre-Orders have started. Yes, Amazon Japan has lifted the embargo on Pokemon X and Y pre-orders and guess what, the pre-orders have been sold out! Yes, all the 100,000 units available for Pre-Order are gone in Japan. Wow.

With a lot of exciting news on features on the new Pokemon games, and now that Japan already has off-site marketing in place, I am now inclined to think that the Pokemon Company in the US will also be doing these kinds of promotions as well, or even more.
