The Nintendo 3DS Facebook page has been featuring characters that will appear on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game on June 9, 2013. Take a look at some of them after the break!
The picture above is the character Leif. Leif is a sloth(?) that runs the new gardening center in town. He has a green thumb since he knows how to grow flowers.
The character above is Tom Nook. If you have played Animal Crossing: Wild World on the Nintendo DS, then this guy is familiar to you. According the 3DS FB page, Tom Nook has a brand new business. He is now running a shop focused on Real Estate. If you need renovation services, Tom Nook is the guy to go to. Of course, it'll come with a price!

Animal Crossing has been out in Japan since last year. The game gets a 39/40 score in Famitsu. It'll come to North America on June 9. 2013.
