Ace Attorney 5 Trailer Highlights HeartScope System and Crime Scene Investigations

Heads up! A brand new Ace Attorney 5 trailer for the Nintendo 3DS appears from the wild featuring the game's new heart scope system and how crime scenes are investigated in 3D. Actually, the trailer debuted at the 2nd Nico Nico Chou Kaigi event that happened in Japan. Check out the trailer below:  

 
While the trailer briefly discussed the history of the Ace Attorney series, it proceeds immediately to a brief sneak peek of Ace Attorney 5. We saw some familiar faces. Phoenix is in blue coat. There's Kidzuki Kokone, the unnamed character we mentioned before. Apollo Justice returns to the courtroom. Winston Payne's younger brother also makes an appearance.

Gameplay-wise, we saw brief how the heart scope system works. The player needs to point out the inconsistency between the witness' testimony and his emotion. This suggests a contradiction that can be further pressed by Phoenix Wright. Also, were you able to see how the crime scene can be examined in different angles? I bet it can greatly make use of the 3DS's 3D capability to display erring objects that can be the evidence we need to solve a trial. :)

Ace Attorney 5 is coming to Japan this year on July 25, 2013. No release date was announced outside Japan, but it's certain that the game will be localized in English. No word yet for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth 2. Level-5 is also mum about the Ace Attorney vs Professor Layton Crossover game.
