Here's Everything that Happened in Feb 14 Nintendo Direct

 Yesterday's Nintendo Direct was full of exciting new announcements both for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. I'll try to cover most of them in this single post and then try to create new posts on stories that needs elaboration.

Without further ado.

1. Satoru Iwata declared 2013 as the year of Luigi.
2. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be available in March 21.
3. Shigeru Miyamoto appeared for the first time in Nintendo Direct to discuss the new Luigi's Mansion game.
4. Holy crap! Miyamoto-san's speaking in English?! Oh wait, it's just a voiceover. I would have liked it more if they just inserted subtitles.
5. Brand new game: Mario And Luigi: Dream Team is the next installment in the RPG series starring the Mario Bros. Coming soon this 2013.
6. Brand new game announcement: Mario Golf World Tour coming this 2013 will feature Luigi as a character.
7. Fire Emblem: Awakening's free downloads will only be free up to March 6. 
8. Animal Crossing release date announced! June 9, 2013.
9. Style Savvy Trendsetters will feature Animal Crossing-inspired dresses.
10. Lego City Undercover: The Chase begins will be available on April 21, 2013. The game's events will occur prior to the events of the Wii U game.
11. Lots of new content for the eShop: HarmoKnight (March 28,) Kersploosh (March 7,) Mario and DonkeyKong Minis in the Move, Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger (April 11,) Harvest Moon, Legend of the River King
12. Get Free Game Downloads when you buy/register a Nintendo 3DS XL along with either Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
13. There is a massive sale on the 3DS eShop now. Prices are slashed for Bit.Trip Saga, Crashmo. etc.
14. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate coming this March 5, demo on Feb. 28
15. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate coming this March 19 for both the Wii U and 3DS, demo on Feb 21.
16. Disney Infinity coming on the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS soon.
17. DonkeyKong Country Returns 3D coming soon, preview video available via download.

Things are looking good on the Wii U side of things as well. Here's everything that were announced:

1. New DLC which will feature Luigi as main character in Wii U game, New Super Mario Bros. U. This DLC is titled New Super Luigi U.
2. There is now a Zelda-themed MiiVerse community.
3. Lego City Undercover will be released on March 18, 2013.
4. Wii Street U is now available, powered by Google. If you don't know what Street View is, check this article out.
5. Wii U Points - Purchase and downloadable content on the Wii U eShop, 10% of the price will be credited back to your account. Keep doing this and you can buy games based on the number of points you have. Track your account and purchases at ddp.nintendo.com
6.  Wii U will be bundled with Zombi U, coming on Feb 17.
7. Zen Pinball 2 is a freebie this month.
8. Toki Tori is coming this March.
9. Need 4 Speed: Most Wanted U is coming on March 19. 
10. Walking Dead game coming on March 25.
11. Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming this April 16.
12. Disney Infinity coming to Wii U as well.
