Looks like this is legit as the game's translator confirmed its existence. Previously, N-Handhelds reported that director of the series, Tatsuya Kando, revealed that Square Enix is still not done with The World Ends With You and they still have plans for the IP. Does the secret ending confirms this message straight from the director's mouth? Probably. We can only guess at this point.
