Super Mario Bros 2 Jumps to 3DS Virtual Console

Super Mario Bros. 2, a NES title is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on July 25. If you're not from there, you probably know it as Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. Why the name change?
I have written a lengthy post about this topic sometime ago and you might want to check it out.
Basically, the fine folks at Nintendo of America deemed that Super Mario Bros. 2 was too difficult and people might shy away from it. What they did was to reworked a Japanese game called Doki Doki SUper Mario Bros. 2.

Soon, this reworked Mario 2 was eventually released in Japan as Super Mario USA.
The game will be available for 500 Yen.
