HOWEVER, SVP Christian Svensson of Capcom said everything about Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Miles Edgeworth is still open discussions. And I will quote him on this one:
It is still an open discussion point. I’ll never say never, but I also won’t say it’s going to happen. I haven’t let go of that bone, and I hope the fans are still patient with us.
It seemed that Mr. Svensson still can't say anything about it. Or perhaps, Capcom is so busy about Resident Evil and their Mobile strategy that they put Ace Attorney off and deemed the franchise as a less priority at this point. I am talking about the game in an outside-of-Japan perspective. As you know, Ace Attorney is a very important franchise for Capcom in Japan.
I wonder if Svensson knew about the translation efforts of the fans. He was actually very good with words. I respect him for that. As Capcom's (let's face it) mouthpiece, he does his job well and is very appreciative of Capcom's fans. If there's someone I would like to announce a new Ace Attorney game, I would like it to be him.

For the record, I'm not downplaying Resident Evil. There's nothing wrong with Capcom being busy with that franchise this year. I just put it on perspective that since Capcom's busy with a lot of things (that will make money, guaranteed) AA2 is still on hold.
