It was first apparent that Nintendo 3DS will not have the 3DS estore and other features on launch date but from an article at Eurogamer, it seems that there is a slight misinterpretation of what we've heard (or read, for that matter).
According to Nintendo of Europe, the eStore and the browser will be available on Day One via firmware upgrade. So that means you have to connect the 3DS to the internet and upgrade itat once on your Day 1 purchase.
Is this a piracy-involved issue? Anyone?
