First Public Demonstration Of Nintendo 3DS At Nintendo World 2011

NintendoWorld2011.Com reports that Nintendo World 2011 which will happen on January 8. 9 and 10 will be the first public demonstration of the 3DS - Nintendo's next-gen handheld that lets you play games in 3D without 3D glasses. 

The event, which will happen in Chiba, Japan will feature playable 3DS games and trailers.

Here is a list of the playable 3DS games in the upcoming show:
  1. Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D The Naked Sample
  2. Winning Eleven 3D Soccer
  3. Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
  4. Resident Evil Revelations
  5. Samurai Warriors Chronicle
  6. Dead or Alive Dimensions
  7. Ridge Racer 3D
  8. Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
  9. Nintendogs + Cats
  10. Kid Icarus
  11. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
  12. Steel Diver
  13. Pilot Wings Resort
  14. AR Games
  15. Nintendo 3DS Camera

The following games are reported to be available either in playable demo or trailer version:

The world has been waiting for the Nintendo 3DS. I hope Nintendo World 2011 will become successful in getting people to buy the handheld in the future. With the handheld market having a surprise competition from Apple, it is likely that the event is one way to promote the product and a way for Nintendo to assess the general reception of its target market towards the 3DS.
