Random Enemy Encounters Can Be Changed in Bravely Default
In the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, lots of improvements were made thanks to a collaborative feedback between the developers and the fans who have played the game.
Square Enix compiled a 100-item list of the most requested suggestions for the game. According to Dengeki, which Siliconera has translated, 80% of these suggestions were implemented to Bravely Default: For the Sequel. The other 20% are something that either they cannot do or imposssible to be added.
One of the mentioned suggestions is the visible encounter system, wherein players like to see the enemies on the field. While this cannot be done, the developers have added a way for players to change the encounter rate in the game. You can freely change the percentage of chance that you encounter random enemies. There are no catch in doing that, such as non-access to valuable items etc, but of course, if you play the game with lesser encounter rate all through out, you might have trouble with the boss fights. This is important, since some of the bosses in the upcoming game were made tougher than they were in the original version.
Bravely Default: For the Sequel will be out in Japan on December 5. This is the version that will come to western shores next year. Find more Bravely Default stories here on N-Handhelds, your Pokemon blog and Nintendo 3DS blog.
