Phoenix Wright Returns to the Courtroom in Ace Attorney 5. Other Details You Need To Know Inside

I couldn't be more happier than with this news. Just as Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney is back in the spotlight, Gyakuten Saiban 5 is also back.. with a bam!

It's playable at the Tokyo Game Show. 

Yes, along with Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney, along with other games Capcom has lined up for the Japanese market. What's playable at the show is a 15 minute-demo, enough for people who will go there to play and make an impression on it.

On 3D and New Characters

You think Ace Attorney has jumped to the iOS wagon? Well, Gyakuten Saiban 5's exclusive console is the Nintendo 3DS. That is only fitting since Phoenix has always been larger than life, and the 3DS can give the characters and that "Igiari" ("Objection!") to pop out cleverly.

Yes. Ryuichi Naruhodo, or Phoenix Wright, as we all know him, will star as the main character of Ace Attorney 5

Screenshots from Famitsu reveals a new character dressed in yellow. Capcom will introduced her at the Tokyo wvent, and Andriasang has mentioned that the character will be a key person in the game. Another character mentioned was Winston Payne's younger brother.

Wow. He has a brother?

Initial Events

Phoenix will be defending a girl who causes an explosion in the courtroom, in the courtroom. Why the redundance? Remember that Phoenix has already lost his badge before the events of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. But now, he will be an attorney again, to defend people. Just as we thought that Phoenix is gone for good, he returns.

A New Gameplay?

Siliconera wrote a few details on Gyakuten Saiban 5's possible new gameplay system based on the 3 screenshots provided by Famitsu.

One shows a bunch of silhouettes behind a target character with the word "update" on the center of the screen. Another screenshot has "courtroom minutes" in the top left and "find out" in the top right. The third screenshot shows the evidence system, which has four emoticons in the corners.

I can be more hyped now. Let's forget for a moment that Capcom has possibly no plans of releasing Ace Attorney Investigations 2 in the West. For now, let's celebrate, Ace Attorney fans, for this new announcement.

Wait? What About The Jury System?

Perhaps it was in the scans. But my lack of understanding the language would have made me not noticed it. But isn't it that at the end of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, the jury system was introduced? And Phoenix is key person in introducing that law system. Hah! Some points to ponder!
