Pugilis Kingdom
Pugilis has lots of Fighting-type Pokemon. Honestly, this battle will be tough for both eevee and jigglypuff so you need to take a Flying-type Pokemon with you.
The Field:
It's another capture the flag battle but this time, you are in a sort of boxing ring wherein when you got attacked on the edge, you'll be knocked out of the ring.
Warriors and their Pokemon
Here'a list of Warlords you will face in Pugilis nation along with their respective Pokemon:
Yoshihiro - Gurdurr [Fight]
Tadamato - Timburr [Fight]
Tadatsune - Pansage [Grass]
Takahisa - Machop [Fight]
Kanemori - Timburr [Fight]
Strategy
We have seen lots of warriors with starlys, at least have one or 2 of them in the group. Also, bring your Fire pokemon with you since, well, my darumakka helped a lot. For one, your fire pokemon can knock out pansage immediately so that you can focus your flying-types and other pokemon on the fighting-types Pokemon solely.
Always remember though, that your goal is to capture the 4 flags. Get these flags and you do not have to deal with the opponent's pokemon.
Defeat Yoshihiro in 4 turns with your special warlord (such as the protagonist or Oichi) and you can recruit him. Yoshihiro's Gurdurr [Fight] is extremely valuable later in the game because of its type advantage with the other kingdoms.
Chrysalia Kingdom
In Chrysalia Kingdom, you'll be facing the Pokemari-loving warlord Yoshimoto. This battle will be, well, fairly easy if you have been bringing your fire-type in all your previous battles. My darumakka has been doing lots of things recently.
Field
You are in a filed where there are Pokemomari-balls and traps. There's a bridge and river so obviously, your Water-types and Flying-types have movement advantage. When you attack a Pokemari-ball, it will bounce to the direction you attacked it and will do big-time damage to anyone it hits.
Warriors and their Pokemon
Here's a list of Warlords you will face in Chrysalia Kingdom along with their respective Pokemon:
Yoshimoto - Pineco [Bug]
Ujichika - Venipede [Bug/Poison]
Sessai - Spheal - [Ice/Water]
Masatsuna - Venipede [Bug/Poison]
Yasutomo - Sewaddle - [Bug/Grass]
Strategy
Obviously, your fire-type pokemon can help you a lot in this battle. Literally, all the opponent's pokemon are weak to it. Just don't have them fall in traps or it will take time for you to finish the battle. You're flying-type will also be good but spheal has an Ice-type move that can knock it down. Your eevee can also attack lots of them without worrying for any type disadvantages and whatnots, while your jigglypuff can use heal when you really needed it.
I recommened equipping your Pokemon with an antidote or Paralyze heal.
Defeat Yoshimoto with a special warlord (such as the protagonist or Oichi) in 4 turns and he will join your army. His Pineco is of use especially with your upcoming battle against Kenshin Uesugi and his Psychic-type kingdom.
Violight Kingdom
This by far, would be the hardest Kingdom so far for me because I don't have any ground-type pokemon at my disposal. I even neglected my grass-types that's why Ginchiyo almost kicked my butt. But of course you can do things to remedy the situation.
Field
The battle field will be in an electrified pit. There are 4 section in the pit wherein if someone hits a certain switch on the side of the battlefield, it will trigger a mass electrocution of all the Pokemon in a certain section. Yikes! If you have a water-type or flying-type that got hit, assume that they will be useless throughout the game.
Warriors and their Pokemon
Here'a list of Warlords you will face in Violight nation along with their respective Pokemon:
Ginchiyo - Shinx [Electric]
Muneshige - Starly [Normal/Flying]
Jouun - Pichu [Electric]
Sorin - Panpor [Water]
Takatane - Mareep [Electric]
Strategy
This is the most-balanced opposing team we have seen so far. Look, you may want to bring your grass-types since electric-types are ineffective against them, but wait! Starly is there to kick your grass-type pokemon out of the game immediately! Perhaps you may go with the usual ground-type pokemon since they are the only type that has advantage over electric-types, but you better get it out of panpour's way or else they'll get knocked out too.
If you have managed to level-up a Quagsire, then you are in luck. It is a dual Water/Ground type pokemon so even though it should have a weakness against electricity, it's ground affinity will cancel it. So yeah, Quagsires are your only hope in the battle.
But of course, your pokemon should be of good strengths at this point in time. I go with eeevee and jigglypuff in this battle. Also, I bring in Yoshimoto with me since he and his pineco are fairly strong. I also brought this warlord (forgot the name) which has a carnivine. So if I'm lucky, I might encounter 3 electric-types in one row and carnivine will use vine-whip that will hit them in one hit. I made darumakka deal with starly while I let carnivine and eeve deal with panpour immediately.
If you defat Ginchiyo in 4 turns, she will join you. She and her shinx will be very valuable against Date Masamune in Avia Kingdom.
At this point in the game, my usual pokemon are eeeve, eigglypuff, darumakka, pineco, shinx, gurdurr, and carnivine. I usually end up with darumakka, and gurdurr in the next battles but the others will be quite handy so it is worth raising their links with their warlords since they will be useful in the battles against upcoming kingdoms.
