Nintendo's Strategy to Re-Energize the US and European 3DS Market

Satoru Iwata honestly told Nintendo shareholders that the sales momentum of the Nintendo 3DS is slowing down in the United States and Europe. And according to him, it is not so good. Details are after the break:

This is in stark contrast with the way the handheld has been dominating Japan since Super Mario 3D Land was released last year.

What is Nintendo's way of reverting it? According to Iwata himself, he thinks Super Mario Bros. 2 and the Nintendo 3DS XL can reenergize interest to the handheld. I certainly hope so. Perhaps, Nintendo should just keep on making these good games.
