Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS is going to offer a lot of things only it can offer - one is the dual system. As one (if not the first) of the first Nintendo 3DS game to support DLC (it was the first that is confirmed though,) the stakes are high in Japan as this new entry to the franchise becomes a breath of something new with regards to the added gameplay and support.
Some Fire Emblem: Awakening Features:
- My Unit Concept - you'll start by designing your own avatar
- Casual and Classic Play option - In casual play, characters that died can be resurrected. That is not the case in Classic Play, where characters that died are done for. It's called classic because it's the trademark of the series.
- Dual System - Let's you attack in chains. This means that when you attack an enemy, an ally close to you will joins in the attack too.
(Wait, I think I've played that kind of game before... Disgaea 1? Anyone?)
Fire Emblem: Awakening gets released in Japan on April 19, 2012.
