Kingdom Hearts 3D and Bravely Default are Square Enix Games I'm Excited on the 3DS

No matter how I try to tell myself not to like Square Enix, I always end up playing their titles. And here we are in this era of the 3DS and the Playstation Vita (and the iOS of course,) the Japanese giant unveils exciting IPs for the PSP Vita and the 3DS. And of course, I will not talk about the Vita but rather the 2 SE games for the Nintendo 3DS

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance

The anouncement for this game has been around since the announcement of the 3DS last year. I think I did not see this game at E3 this year but the Tokyo Game Show provided us with some information. Sora and Riku are both playable characters, Neku from the World Ends with You makes an appearance, there are new  heartless and it will be released in Japan in Spring 2012 (and oh, they will have new outfits and Riku has a haircut :).)

I doubt that this will not have an English release. Here's the trailer from the Tokyo Game Show:

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy

What a weird name for a game (But the pictures above are...uh..cool :).) This game was announced in the Tokyo Game Show and SE said Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will used the 3DS' augmented reality feature. Other info? Well, it is an RPG, and I am a sucker for the genre. Concept art is by Akihiko Yoshido who worked on Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light for the Nintendo DS. Details about the game are few right now but you can check out this trailer:

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is slated for release next year in Japan.
