Kids Want 3DS This Christmas - Iwata

Now I know where are all the 3DS gone - to the children. xD

The Nintendo 3DS' price drop continues to affect the handheld in a number of ways. One of them is the kids segment of gamers. Iwata noted that with the price drop, more children want a 3DS this Christmas. This actually makes me assume that the 3DS was too costly before and kids don't want to pester their parents about the handheld.

When the 3DS launched earlier this year, its main target market are young working males. This people have the money to buy the handheld, and what's more, most 3DS launch games are targeted to them.
