Iwata: Next Time, You Can Download Games on Your 3DS Too

A lot of things will happen in the eShop (while I'm away from the net,) therefore, in the 3DS. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata said it himself and Siliconera reported about it: This are all tied up to the firmware update in November.

Demos - the eShop can become a hub for demos so that players can try the game first before buying it. Sounds fun. Some people (yep, some) download games in the net for the sole purpose of trying it first before buying it. I bet this is another way to counter piracy.

Downloading in Sleep mode - If you are downloading a software, now, you can even do it in sleep mode. Iwata noted that this will not make the players patiently wait for the download to complete anymore. Another thing noted is the ability to download multiple softwares at once.

Download via PC or phone - This is it. Though this will be much much later, Iwata mentioned about it and soon we can download games to our 3DS via our PC (while we're playing Mario Kart in Facebook. lol)
