Nintendo: "Mario Kart Facebook App is Not an Official Nintendo App"

In their Facebook page, Nintendo posted that the Mario Kart App in Facebook is not theirs. Hence, it is not an official Nintendo app as others suggested. Nintendo also advise people to go to the official Mario Kart homepage to get all the latest news about the game.

Comment: And who in their right mind would think Nintendo will ever put their app outside a Nintendo console? Let alone in Facebook? If you are one of those who think that Nintendo has loosen up, then you might be thinking the wrong way.

Commenters were quick to reply about it. Some were shocked, the others posted about their love for the Mario Kart franchise, while the others opened up the possibility of putting Xenoblade Chronicles in Facebook. But I will not comment on that since N-Handhelds is a Nintendo portable gaming blog.

On the other hand, I think a Mario Kart in Facebook is a good idea. Imagine if you are in the office and you cannot bring up your 3DS or DS to play a game. Oops. Don't quote me on that. :D

Mario Kart 7 is coming to the Nintendo 3DS on December worldwide.
