Shigeru Miyamoto Plays Mario Maker With Kids

With a smile like that, it seems like Shigeru Miyamoto is having fun.

Of course he is having fun. Look at how the kids beside him are beaming with smile. And the game they are playing? Mario Maker.

Mario Maker is a game but also a game creation tool that people would love to gave since the days of Super Mario World or earlier. You basically have this big editor. There are toolbards on the top and left screen. From that you can build a Mario level by placing structures like Pipes, Coin Blocks, Bricks, and enemies.

Basically, this is probably a kid's first try on game design. Minecraft might be too complicated, but Mario Maker will be as basic as it can be with more fun. Why? It is, after all, a Mario game.
