Pokemon Gifts and Balancing Issues on Pokemon X and Y

If you live in Japan, and you are near a Pokemon Center, perhaps you have the perfect birthday gift.

According to website Serebii, you can receive a special Pokemon of your choice when you visit a Pokemon center on your birthday, starting from October 12. The Pokemon that you may receive include Pikachu, Eevee, or any of its eevolutions - Sylveon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon.

In other news, Pokemon director Junichi Masuda mentioned that the upcoming games will not receive any patches to rebalance the game. To them, the game is already perfect, and it will rely on the players to come with strategies when playing the game.
