Bravely Default: Flying Fairy: Time to Go Back to the World of RPG

When it comes to RPG 3DS games, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is always somewhere at the top of the list. I haven't played it, but feedback from Japan is, well, overwhelming. How come we're not getting this game?

Oh wait, we (finally) will.

I have been writing about this charming game from Square Enix since 2011, when it was first announced. It doesn't just look charming. It also feels like a return to the Final Fantasy of the old. For the people who love RPGs, something from Square Enix is always a treat.

Yes. You can say that Square Enix is releasing some of the best console gaming crap in recent years. However, make no mistake. Their portable RPGs are always on top form. Let me name a few:

- The World Ends With You
- Dragon Quest IX
- Chaos Rings
- Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

The west has been very vocal in telling the company to finally localize Bravely Default. I don't know if there was pressure from Nintendo (who, as we all know, is not going so well with the sales of their units). This announcement is something exciting for every Nintendo 3DS gamer out there.

Also, I think it will be a treat to all of us RPG gamers. Perhaps it's time to immerse myself again in a new RPG world that only Square Enix can bring us.
