Surprisingly, Nintendo Announces 2 New DSi Colors

Nintendo announces two new Nintendo DSi colors Matte Red and Matte Blue. It will be release as early as this week.

One word - beautiful.

But with the Nintendo 3DS already up, I cannot find the value for purchasing these two new colors. I am inclined to think that they release these 2 new colors to heighten the perceived value of the Nintendo 3DS. A confused customer will be saying, "Why will I buy a DSi if I can already buy a 3DS at this certain price with more new games I can play?"

Very clever Nintendo.
