Mario and Zelda Franchises Stay at the Top 10 - Japan's Video Game Sales

Folks, this is another interesting week in Japan. Zelda is at the top while Mario stays at number 4. What's more interesting? Last week's number 1 and 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 slip to number 10 and 11

As you can see below, Nintendo rules Japan (atleast the first two spots) with their 2 flagship franchises, Zelda and Mario. This is proof of the unwavering grip these two franchises have in Japan.

Japan's Video Game Sales for the Week 2011 November 21 - 27
