If you still do not know, the Nintendo 3DS is coming in North America on March 24 with a price of 249 $. This is confirmed by Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime at the 3DS preview event that happened in New York.
The 3DS will be initially available in 2 colors - Cosmo Black and Aqua Blue.
According to Fils-Aime they have conducted a survey based on E3 reactions and the survey results concluded that the respondents felt that the 3DS should be price at 300 $ up but the company thought that they should put the price lower.
Pretty slick. Pricing the 3DS lower than what is expected is a sure fire way to get the public to but it because they will feel that the valueof the 3DS exceeds its cost.
