The Purpose of Bravely Default: For The Sequel

It is important to note that the Bravely Default: Flying Fairy game that will come to the west is actually the one that will come out in Japan this December, entitled "Bravely Default: For the Sequel".

I've been reading this translated interview from Famitsu, the one with Tomoya Asano. He mentioned the reason for this game and other important things regarding Bravely Default. According to him, they have already planned for a sequel, and while that sequel is not yet produced, For The Sequel acts as a way for players to enjoy the new systems that will be in place once the second game in the series is completed.

In a way, For the Sequel is like a demo version of the next game in Bravely Default series. But it also isn't, since it's not really the second game but the first game with additional events, new systems, and improved ones.

I tell you, it's a headache thinking about this complicated matter. But I guess I will not complain, since I've been waiting for years for this game to come out.
