As we are all still excited on the upcoming Pokemon X and Y, we got a report on Pikachu.
The Pikachu 3DS XL
It has been that long when Nintendo announced the Pikachu-themed 3DS LL to the people in Japan. They did it just days after they announced the extra large 3DS. All right. We first thought it will never be locally distributed.
But they did announced it.. in Chile.
Does that mean only Chile will get it? I don't think so. After all, the country has the same eShop as the one in the US, or so I was told. I have a gutsy feeling that, after all the clamor for the shocking Wii U announcements in the latest Nintendo Direct, the company will go back to announce some love for the 3DS.
And while we are on the subject of Pokemon and the hype for X and Y, Junichi Masuda was also hyping the game in his blog.
Junichi Masuda Talks About Pokemon X and Y
Turns out, he's directing the new game. He wasn't the one who directed the previous Black and White 2. And the special thing he and his team wanted to create with the new Pokemon game?
Playing Together
Pokemon has improved dramatically over the years aesthetically and competitively in the 4th and 5th gen games - Diamond and Pearl and Black and White. But this new form of playing together is really vague in my honest opinion.
Could it be that he just meant people around the world can play together at the same time because of the simultaneous release?
Or a much intricate form of communication allowing Pokemon players to communicate directly on the 3DS?
We will soon find out. :)
Thanks for reading.
