In this Pokemon news that's more likely to affect the entire Japan rather than the rest of the world, the Official Pokemon Black and White 2 Tournament is coming on Nov. 2 - 4. Players should be registered with a Pokemon Global Link account and will be split into 3 Divisions:
Junior - Players born from 2001 to the present
Senior - Players born from 1997 - 2000
Master - born in 1996 or before. Like me.
That means if you experienced playing the first Pokemon Red in 1996, you'll likely be in the Master Division. I actually kind of like the sound of that. Anyway, a similar tournament should be happening in various regions as well, which also divide the players in the year they were born. I'll update the news if I get info about the North American one.
