Website Teases The World Ends With You, But In What Platform?

A site is up lately at this url: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/subaseka/ . If you are a Square Enix fan, heck, a World Ends With You fan, you'll likely realized it. Subaseka is short for Subarashiki Kono Sekai, the Japanese title for The World Ends With You. What does this new website has to mean?

The rumors are floating. There is a high chance that it is a website for The World Ends With You. The timer, the font, the music, the eerie atmosphere. It feels like TWEWY all the way. The question remains though, if it is an announcement of a new World Ends With You media, what platform will that be?

The Nintendo 3DS? Surely, I have come to the conclusion as well. The game's battle system without a doubt needed two screens, a touch screen at the bottom. I cannot fathom how that can be replicated in any other way in other systems.

But of course we know Square Enix too well. They love their IPs in multiple platforms. Look at Final Fantasy. Look at Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts. Though there is also a chance that a new World Ends With You title will not be in the 3DS, I'm quite assured that the game will not be in home consoles such as the Playstation 3 or the XBox.
