Is Go Busters DS Fated with a Dated Console Due to It's Low Popularity?

Tokume Sentai Go Busters DS
Yup, the Nintendo DS is still not dead. Namco Bandai will release a Sentai game on the portable console based on Tokumei Sentai Go Busters.

Seeing  the video, part of me says that it isn't going to be cartoonish in graphics just like the earlier All Kamen Rider: Rider Generation 2 developed by the same company. Instead, we have here a 3D polygonal game inspired by the Sentai series. Good graphics? Yes.

Tokumei Sentai Go Busters
I consider this a rather key moment - Namco Bandai is creating a game on a platform that is about to die. And  Namco Bandai is no small developer. But then, reports are coming that the Sentai series in particular is currently suffering from low ratings and misplaced target demographic. I am in no position to say anything because I haven't watched the show, but awesome people at Rising Sun Tokusatsu says otherwise. And if we think about it in the gaming perspective, some companies milk their IPs in whatever way they can when it is successful and also if its clear that the IP will not last long.

Does this mean that Namco chose the DS because there is less money involved creating a game for a series that isn't that popular? Let me know your thoughts! Tokumei Sentai for the Nintendo DS will arrived on September 27.
