3DS XL Will Be Sold At Profit

While the price cut for the Nintendo 3DS early last year seems to early, Iwata was asked if 3DS XL will be sold at a loss, to which he replied:

First of all to the 3DS XL, we will not be selling this at a loss, we don’t have a huge profit margin on it we intend to sell it a profit. 

It should be noted that in some places, the 3DS XL will not be sold with the adapter in it. Another point is that now, the Nintendo 3DS has a library of games and people will surely see value in it now.
