Pokemon Black and White 2 Sells 1.6 Million Units in 2 Days!

Pokemon Black and White 2 sold 1,618,621 units in its first week, and the first one to sell a million units this year in any platform. Check out more details after the break!

Enterbrain and Famitsu provided these numbers that will likely contribute to Pokemon Black and White 2 to be at the top of the sales charts for this week. Keep in mind that the game's numbers are just for two days, since it was released on a Saturday. Impressive.

Another fact - the game is actually the first video game to sell a million units this year in any platform. Mario Kart 7, Monster Hunter 3G, and Super Mario 3D Land were all released last year. What does that say to the Pokemon Franchise as a whole, eh? ^^
