Kingdom Hearts' New Game Will Be Unexpected?

Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series talks with Famitsu and discussed some things about the next game in the Kingdom Hearts series following the Nintendo 3DS' Dream Drop Distance. Regarding that, he didn't mention if it'll be the third main game in the series because he said it will be something unexpected. This is the report I found at Gematsu.

From Kingdom Hearts Insider, there are some talks that it might be an iOS game that Nomura had mentioned before at Game Informer.

Wellllll, I thought Nomura could announce it already? At least that was the report that I got before. Here I thought it's high time to release a Kingdom Hearts III, but then again, perhaps they are examining the Japanese sales of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and will take a conclusion from there.

It's been well talked about though, the the 3DS game's sales were not as what Square Enix expected it would be.

What do you think? Is it high time to release a third main game in the Kingdom Hearts series? Or Square Enix should continue what they gloriously do (making side games) to the Kingdom Hearts franchise? Hit me up on the comments below! In the meantime, N-Handhelds - Nintendo 3DS News Blog has some fantastic news about Kingdom Hearts in our archives!
