Etrian Odyssey IV Demo Coming Up

Etrian Odyssey IV for the Nintendo 3DS will be getting a demo sometime between now and it's release date (July 5.) Though the date is uncertain, what's real is that the data you'll accumulate in the demo can be carried over to the release version. Cool.

In a previous blog post, we found out that there will be a casual mode that is separate from the normal mode. Monsters can now move in this new Etrian Odyssey game. That is something that never has happened in the previous games in the series. In other relevant news, it seems that you can also do the following:

• switch characters from the front and back rows
• players can also exchange guild cards through Streetpass and QR codes
• as usual, the game is hard. I doubt it won't punish the newbies. :)

Etrian Odyssey IV for the Nintendo 3DS will be coming to Japan on July 5.
