One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 Impressive Sales for a Nintendo DS Game: Video Game Sales for the Week 2011 November 14 - 20

Perhaps the biggest news in Japan's video game industry today is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 being on top of the sales charts. Sometime last last week, Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3 also pull very strong sales in Japan, surprising for a western game. This week we have a lot of western games in the top 20.


But hey, looking at the bright side, One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 (which never got any love from N-Handhelds, I mean specific posts about it) also have massive sales this week. Super Mario 3D Land remains strong at Number 4 while the Nintendo 3DS remains strong pulling almost a hundred thousand in sales.

Oops more people in Japan bought the Nintendo DS family of systems these week than the XBox 360.
