Mario Kart 7, Glorious Kart Racing in 3D

So how come we get to love the Mario Kart franchise even though it is basically just Kart racing from the start?

Mario Kart may be just a simple go-Kart race, but what sets it apart is the ability to use power ups straight from the Mario franchise to be used as either a weapon or a tool in Mario Kart. In Mario Kart 7, they are back. My favorite of them all? The Fire flower power up. Take a look at the video below:

• When the kart jumps to the air, there will be some sort of a wings on its side to glide the kart on course.
• When the kart is on the water, there will be a propeller on its back which is a basic with regards to water vehicles. 
• You can also play the game in first-person mode. 
• And of course, the power ups. Especially the fire flower. Now I can shoot enemies at will. xD
